I am running Geexbox on my Cubox i4Pro and would really like the option of a VPN. I cannot seem to find how to do this. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
we have an openvpn package. Not sure it’s built for cuboxi.
Where do I get this openvpn package? I will try it out and hope for the best otherwise I am going to have to switch to openelec :/
I can provide it on the afternoon
http://download.openbricks.org/cuboxi/openvpn_2.3.2-2_armv7.opk
Many thanks for your help
Sorry to ask what will seem like a stupid question. I am a complete newbie to Geexbox and indeed Linux.
How do I install the package? Do i need to reinstall the full Geexbox build as well? I should say that I have downloaded the file onto a USB stick as I am unsure whether I can access the file from my Cuboxi running Geexbox.
Also is there an instruction manual on Geexbox or is it just a matter of playing with it?
hum, if you are completly newbie, it won’t be so easy :/
using a remote access, you can install it executing :
opkg install http://download.openbricks.org/cuboxi/openvpn_2.3.2-2_armv7.opkThen you need to configure vpn by hands
Thank you again. Guess what I am doing this weekend LOL :/
Hi, imnew @ geexbox with ip4, but first look is very interesting ?

Hi there,
I recently installed openVPN on my cubox-i4 Pro with the above mentioned package.
I’m trying out nordvpn.com as the VPN provider. It almost works, except that it looks like the TUN/TAP kernel module isn’t included in geexbox.
I get the following error:
Wed May 20 13:41:14 2015 OPTIONS IMPORT: --ip-win32 and/or --dhcp-option options modified Wed May 20 13:41:14 2015 ERROR: Cannot open TUN/TAP dev /dev/net/tun: No such device (errno=19) Wed May 20 13:41:14 2015 Exiting due to fatal errorAny ideas to get this working?
There should be a cubox-i kernel with CONFIG_TUN=m available in a few days…
