    Hi all

Is it possible to get openssh, or only the sftp-server subsystem to be able to mount geexbox filesystem as sshfs on a pc/mac?

    Thanks a lot

    Hi tomlohave

I tested it and when I try to connect to the server over SSHFS using debug mode I get the following error:

    sh: /usr/libexec/sftp-server: not found

On the server I cannot install the sftp server using

    opkg install openssh-sftp-server

    because package cannot be found.
Maybe it helps when I tell you that I use CuBox as hardware.
    cheers

so what do you want ?

If dropbear is installed, scp works (tested )

What I want to do is to mount a server directory on my client (Mac OS X 10.8) as a network drive. For that I use sshfs as follow

    sshfs -o reconnect,no_readahead,cache=no,follow_symlinks,volname=abc user@ip:/ /Volumes/abc

sshfs uses sftp-server to communicate with the server. with the optional flag  -o sftp_server=SER I can define the path to the sftp-server on the server (in my case CuBox). But the problem is, that no sftp-server can be found

    sh: /usr/libexec/sftp-server: not found

So my goal is to get a sftp-server on the CuBox. The easiest way is to install the package openssh-sftp-server but is not available.

    does it help?
