So I noticed that there is a script that creates a rtorrent directory on the first external hard drive connected to the cubox and then a soft link from /tmp/rtorrent to that directory on the harddrive.
I would like to place the rtorrent directory from
to Videosrtorrent. I did accomplish this by modifying the soft link in /tmp/rtorrent but now the rtorrent service doesn’t start automatically on system reboot. My guess is that I have to edit /usr/bin/check-rtorrent-usb-disk.sh .
Any suggestions ?1) If you install on internal disk :
backup and remove /etc/udev/rules.d/99-rtorrent.rules
backup and remove /lib/systemd/systemd/[email protected]
edit /etc/rtorrent.rc
and change
directory = /rtorrent
by
directory = /what-you-want2)
Change nothing on scripts
delete directory /your-mounted-disk/rtorrent
create a directory for your torrents files
mkdir -p /your-mounted-disk/Video/rtorrent
and a symlink :
ln -s Video/rtorrent /your-mounted-disk/rtorrentI actually solved the problem by editing the /usr/bin/check-rtorrent-usb-disk.sh and pointing to the Videosrtorrent
My cubox is not using exernal driver when I add torrent. I’m working on it for hours. I tried everythint that I found on the internet but nothing changed. Now I’m very tired. Could someone help me about it?
I found a way when I looked for openelec. I just typed “ln -sf /media /rtorrent/media” then I changed the directory from rutorrent settings. Finally, It’s working.
