    Hi,

is there any web browser available in geexbox. I am looking to download mediafiles / torrent files in geexbox .

I heard about advanced launcher plugin for xbmc but I assume we should have a browser installed to use this.

    Thanks

Rtorrent works in this way: you download torent , put them in a specific directory, and voila, rtorrent download them. I suggest you to share this folder throught samba so it will be available on your network to put .torrent file from any web browser running on any device as you want.

    skelos,

even better, run browser/rtorrent on any other device and share the downloads folder, then you may play the contents from your geexbox.

imho, running rtorrent on slow and unreliable flash card is painful, and attaching external hdd drives power consumption up and defies the main purpose of low-power always-on STB multimedia device.

lenik, my main purpose is not low-power sut low-size. My external drive turn off automatically when no request in few minutes saving power.
