Yes, Geexbox can capture the tuner signal and record all TV programs. You need just to check if a firmware for your driver exists for linux and derivates… You can’t use windows drivers.
Yes, Geexbox/tvheadend can schedule recordings based on EPG grabbed in internet.
Yes, Geexox can generally use remotes for receive command. You need to check if this is true also for your own remote. If you are luck you can also found a table already done for mapping keys of your remote to XBMC commands. Otherwise you can configure it by hand. If you also use a CEC compatible TV you can also use same remote for TV and Cubox. I have a Samsung Smart TV and it works fine.Let me know if I replied to all your questions.

i discovered that rtorrent goes down because I had a file .torrent not good. So, I moved al contents of session/ folder in other directory and re-put file in session/ one for time until I found the bad one.This not crear why I have ‘FAILURE’ message. Actually rtorrent status is :

This post talk about userneae/password configured from access to Tvheadend and I never did this. For the moment I access with no login as desault user.
So, I recovered a log from XBMC but I’m tot able to understand what is goes wrong. Someone could help me?

The introduction of ‘network’ concept for me is not usefull : I have only one network and I’m not available to using more.
It is a little more slow for search and detect muxes/channels but this is not a real problem.I would just know hot to extend default lenght to Tv show description. Now I have only few char like “The movie speaks about…” and it contains only 5 or 6 words : unable to know what TV show speaks about. It is possible to have 300 /350 digits in description?
Thank you very much. Your are fantastic, guys. My test was force a downgrade to tvheadend 3.4 (download by 3.1 repo). I know what Rudi said about mixing differente releases but my test was limited only to the tvheadend package and it works.
Naturally, I download and test as soon as possible this 3.9 package for my Cubox (I know is better have more updated possible packages).So, I let you know.

ok, I understood. I download latest snapshot before it disappeard and I install it as new installation.
May be follow some question about problems tipical of non-stable version…
So “classic” cubox will be deprecated?
