    As I tested, the splitter is the problem.
    If its attached on booting the CuBox will push a wrong scaling.
    When starting without it and put it back to the chain after everything is loaded its just fine.
    Is it possible to force a scale or a fake handshake on boot?

    I’ ll try just the AVR without the splitter, as I remember this will work.
    Will write the result.

    Just tested some hardware confs, if I connect the beamer direct with the cubox there is no squeeze, with splitter and AVR its okay till the next startup.
    It must be some kind of bad handshake.
    What can I log for you to get this out?

    It couldn’t be a currupted video file, cause this happens with all of them.
    This effect started with some of the snapshots, the stable 3.0 was okay.
    On init the movie is squeezed after 4 times Y/Z (german/english key layout) Its just right scaled and nothing cut off. Even 24Hz squeeze the menu background. Should I take a screen ?

    Yes I’m using a snapshot from the mirror.

    I dont use the OSD to change the ratio, instead a keyboard shortcut ‘Y’, so I don’t know if this option is available.
    How could the ratio be scratched that way? Even with changing the Hz in settings the same effect will show up, like I described earlier.
    I dont get the link between ratio and fps.

    I flashed a new shnapshot and now the 24Hz output is working, except the screen ratio.
    I still have to change through the scalings back to “Original Size”, so the video is in scale. The OSD, e.g. the movie picture is squeezed.
    Every few seconds a little jerk show up, like the clocking is wrong

    You’re right with that, as my video isn’t out of sync I tought the adjust to playback option should be enough.
    Btw even if A/V sync is enabled the same problem appears.

    Yes I mean the black box on top and, yes I know these are tge video playback specs, but with adjustment checked they should match the output, wich they dont.

    Not straight HDMI a splitter is between, but in straight setup its the same.

    Yes this is the setting I’m talking about. I use “On start/stop” to but I dont use “A/V sync method” = “Audio clock” because my beamer and TV have no synch.

    Yes both devices support the 24Hz format.

    Dont know where to look in the debugg….

    EDIT:
    As I tested right now, the OSD told me to have 24Hz but I see a picture on my PC Screen wich defenetly doesn’t support 24Hz.
    My other TV and Beamer tell me they receive @60Hz

    Now I got some trouble with the CEC command to poweroff the reciever, the optio to send a signal at poweroff the CuBox is checked but it wont do it.
    Poweron the reciever with the CuBox is working fine, so the poweroff on screensaver.
    Only poweroff on shutdown is not working.
    I tried to make a workaround with editing the /lib/systemd/system files and add a command like “echo ‘standby 5′ | cec-client -s” but this doesnt work. I simply doesnt get the right file wich is executed on shutdown.
    Should be “systemd-poweroff.service”?! Maybe I produced a syntax error.
    Please give me some advise how to add a working CEC command on shutdown.

    Damn seems to be the limit of the I2S Audio Ports of the Marvell AP88510 chip they are only capable of 96 kHz :-(
