If you want to test the latest build :
it’s here : http://download.openbricks.org/edit : 24/12/2011
I’ve uploaded an iso containing xbmc-addon-xvdr (https://github.com/pipelka/xbmc-addon-xvdr and https://github.com/pipelka/vdr-plugin-xvdr)is someone interesting to test ?

0) configure your regional settings (timezone, etc)
else records won’t work1) create our own channels.conf for vdr 1.7 ( -o7 ) (from putty or from vt2)
for dvb-t ( -ft )in france ( -cFR ) , command line is :
w_scan -ft -cFR -o7 > /root/channels.conf (be patient)
cp /root/channels.conf /etc/vdr(else w_scan –help is your friend ๐ )
reboot2) activate xbmc-plugin-xvdr
go to system/addons/installed add-ons/pvr clients
Choose vdr xvdr client and enabled it3) in system/livetv/
– check “enabled”
4) go to live tv
watch tv ๐edit : 31/12/2011
new iso : http://download.openbricks.org/geexbox-devel-20111230-r13719-i386.iso

December 18, 2011 at 11:16 #2175Hi,

does xorg run ? is this only a problem with xbmc ?December 20, 2011 at 01:53 #2197I was getting the r13600 blank screen as well, but the r13631 seems to have solved it. The remote support seems to have gone a bit wonky though. Fast forward, rewind and back all bring up the shutdown menu. It’s an old MCE remote with the original usb receiver. I’ve tried it with the actual remote and with a Logitech harmony programmed to act like one. I suppose I could tell the Harmony it was some other model if there is one that is known to work.
December 20, 2011 at 03:26 #2199Video and sound work for me with r13631, but selecting anything on the menu does nothing.Using modern MCE remote, I can navigate the menu, but if I select video or video/files, for example, nothing happens. I tried removing /root/.xbmc , just in case – no change,

irw /var/run/lircd
when pressing the key “enter” or “ok” on the remoteDecember 20, 2011 at 13:43 #2222new iso : http://download.openbricks.org/geexbox-devel-20111220-r13637-i386.iso
xbmc doesn’t crash when playing/stopping videos (at least for me)December 20, 2011 at 14:12 #2223I’ll have to try this when I get home tonight. Just two questions. For the remote question, I assume there is some sort of command line interface where I would check the commands you asked about. I’m not familiar with how to access it though. Second, is there a way to upgrade versions without having to start from scratch each time?
December 20, 2011 at 14:51 #2225OK, many MCE remote functions still not working in r13637. Arrows work, stop button works (and yes, no crash on stop unlike 13636). Fast forward, Enter/OK not working. Mouse navigation works (and wow – much less laggy than in XBMC Live).
# irw /var/run/lircd
connect: No such file or directoryWith 2.0 (remote does work):
# irw /var/run/lircd
-sh: irw: not foundDecember 20, 2011 at 17:45 #2229the same for me and my MCE remote, i can move in menus with the arrows, but the “select/ok/enter” (what ever it is called) button does not work.
