介紹

感謝 GeeXboX ISO 產生器，它讓你有可能僅從二進位檔而不需要從源碼編譯整個系統就能建立出符合需求的可開機光碟影像檔。 舉例來說，這讓你在簡單的修改設定檔後卻不需重建整個源碼樹就可以重建 GeeXboX 並產生影像檔。 GeeXboX ISO FLTK 產生器在GNU/Linux 發行、Apple MacOS X 及微軟作業系統中都可以正常工作。用它來產生 X86 或 PPC 版本的 GeeXboX。

GeeXboX's 有幾個方式讓客製化有趣些，例如 :

現在是開始執行 FLTK 產生器的時候了:

• linux-i386-generator 在 GNU/Linux 下(註)
• macosx-generator 在 MacOS X 下
• generator.exe 在 Windows 9x/Me/2000/XP 下

註: 或者你不想用 FLTK 介面，那可以用 generator.sh 即可。

介面選項

在產生器畫面你可以選擇像 theme 這類的主選項，這只會列出預設的 theme，要下載其他的請透過 "Packages" 選項。選擇你要用的 theme, 或 GeeXboX 選單的語言，及播放 DVD 電影時的動作，或當媒體(光碟片)插入電腦時的動作等。

整個操作就是在不同的對話盒裡選擇，不難。

你也可以強迫 subtitle 字元集採用你的當地語言，也可以強迫使用另一種含括在 GeeXboX 中的字元集，這對選單與電影的 subtitle 都可以調整。

音效選項

此處你可以設定跟音效相關的選項。

首先，ALSA 音效卡 ID，若你的電腦有超過一張音效卡(例如主機板上內建，你又插了一張 PCI)，這會讓你選擇要用哪一個音效卡。"0" 是主要的，一般是主機板內建，外接的依序增加。

你也可以選擇輸出模式來指定你要使用音效卡的類比或數位輸出。當選擇數位輸出時，你可以強迫 AC3/DTS passthrough，這會導致直接將 AC3/DTS 串流音效輸出到外部放大器與解碼器。你也可以指定輸出通道號碼，例如立體、環繞、或 5.1 環繞。

SPDIF

如果你選擇數位輸出，如 SPDIF，IEC958 AC97-SPSA Mode表單會顯示四個模式供選擇:

• PCM1
• PCM2, PCM1 (rear)
• Centre and LFE
• PCM3, Modem, Dedicated SPDIF

PCM1 是預設的選項，也是最適合大多數音效卡的，但是若你的 SPDIF 輸出沒聲音時，你應該試試其他模式(PCM3, Modem, Dedicated SPDIF).

SoundBlaster Live/Audigy

這個古老模式是給舊的 SB Live/Audigy 卡用的，預設是沒選它，這選項是專門給擁有 Audigy and newer SB Live 音效卡的使用者。如果你用較舊的 SB live 音效卡卻沒類比輸出，那就選擇這項。

影像選項

• 800x600
• 1024x768
• 1280x1024
• 1600x1200

顏色深度有 15, 16 或 24 位元.

bootsplash 選項用來開啟與關閉開機訊息及進度，或者有的機器在載入 bootsplash 影像時會鎖住時用，這狀況是 BIOS 有誤造成的。在 packages 畫面裡的所有 theme 的所有解析度都支援 bootsplash, 正式 theme, OMC, 卻只支援 800x600 的解析度而已。若你沒看到 bootsplash 影像，卻在開機過程看得到文字的話，那就是你的 Video BIOS 不支援所需要的模式，此時請試試不同的解析度或顏色深度。

VESA

進階的使用者可以客制化自己的解析度，你可以在很多 VESA 模式的說明找到，下面列表是以十進位表示，可以用在 GeeXboX 開機選項裡。

VMWare

如果你用像 VMWare 的虛擬器，那就需要選擇 16 bit 顏色深度才能使用 bootsplash。

遙控器選項

網路選項

這個畫面提供你與 /etc/network 檔相同的資訊，你可以簡單的設定你的 GeeXboX 要不要網路或無線網路或自動偵測。若是使用無線裝置的話，這邊提供像連線模式(managed 或 ad-hoc)及 SSID, WEP(目前沒有 WPA 支援)等設定的能力。

然後，你可以決定是否你要用 DHCP 來自動偵測網路組態，或者用靜態宣告方式。在靜態方式下，你將需要定義你的 GeeXboX 網卡使用的 IP 網址, DNS 伺服器及 Gateway 網址等資訊。注意，只能使用一個網卡。
