    I’m upgrading from Gotham to Kodi using the freshly downloaded image. What files do I need to copy over to keep my library, settings, watched, etc?

    Hello,
    I think you should create a backup of /root/.xbmc
    then restore files/directories present in /root/.xbmc to /root/.kodi

    @Rudi : doesn’t it exist a script for that ?

    I have not tried updating from Gotham to Jarvis, however I would also try to copy the files from /root/.xbmc to /root/.kodi on the new SD. But I would remove /root/.kodi/userdata/advancedsettings.xml and /root/.kodi/userdata/Lircmap.xml before restarting. These files will be re-created with useful defaults.
