Recently my Geexbox (XBMC 13.1) running on my Cubox-i4 pro is stuck on a bootloop. The device seems to boot just as it would normally, then at some point the led blinks 8 times after which it reboots.
I recently also moved, which is why I had to reconnect everything. The device was not damaged in any way so I do not expect this to be the reason this is happening.
I read the serial console using this guide:

I was unable to find anything useful about this on google any help on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated.
Hmm, looks like a bad power supply or power cable connection. I.e. the voltage drops when the GPU kicks in, resulting in a PowerOnReset.
Thanks for the help. I will look for a universal power adapter capable of currents up to 3A with a voltage of 5V.
This has solved the problem. Thank you for your help!
