    Hi All,
I updated to latest snapshot then tried to reinstall XBMC but this failed, a package was no longer in the repo (imx6-lib 3.10.17-1.0.0_beta-1), however after installing the version that is in the repo XBMC starts OK.

Now I’ve noticed that the YouTube addon fails to login with ‘SSL protocol not supported’. Coud this be related to the recent upgrades?

    Cheers
    Giles.

@Peter: We will skip Kodi 14 and jump directlty to 15. Not yet known when…

@Giles: The ‘beta’ components have been replaced by their ‘non-beta’ counterparts quite a while ago.

@tomlohave: Could @Giles‘ problem be related to this?

From what I gathered, the error is generated by the youtube plugin in result of urllib2 throwing an exception with the word “SSL” in the message text. Maybe he just needs to install/refresh the certificates (i.e. run ‘/usr/bin/update-certs.sh’ )…

I had exactly the same troubles with Youtube and several other plugins – thanks very much for your help Devs/Mods. You’ve made a great product.
