What is the easiest way to set the time on my GeexBox CuBox-i4?

Normally the time will be fetched from the network. So if the time zone is configured correctly there should be no need to manually set it. In addition, the CuBox-i4 has a battery-backed real time clock built in. This means that it can keep the correct time even when not connected to network. Geexbox’ a hwclock-sync service will read the realtime clock on boot-up and write it back on shutdown. You can set the system time via ssh or telnet using the “date” command and control the hardware clock using “hwclock”.
