    Hi, I would like some help with rtorrent. I have some torrents with https trackers, so I receive a CA certification error. Looking for a solution, I found this:

    Troubleshooting

    CA certificates
    To use rTorrent with a tracker that uses HTTPS, do the following as root:
    # cd /etc/ssl/certs
    # wget -no-check-certificate https://www.geotrust.com/resources/root_certificates/certificates/Equifax_Secure_Global_eBusiness_CA-1.cer
    # mv Equifax_Secure_Global_eBusiness_CA-1.cer Equifax_Secure_Global_eBusiness_CA-1.pem
    # c_rehash
    And from now on run rTorrent with:
    $ rtorrent -o http_capath=/etc/ssl/certs
    If you use GNU Screen, update the .screenrc configuration file to reflect this change:
    $ screen -t rtorrent rtorrent -o http_capath=/etc/ssl/certs

    I followed this guide till the point where I need to start rtorrent with the “-o http_capath=/etc/ssl/certs” argument.
    I would like this to be the defaul option on rtorrent inicialization on my Cubox-i. So… Where should I add this argument? rtorrent.cfg maybe? Creating an alias? But where?
    I’m quite new to openbricks.

    Thank you very much for the attention, sorry for the bad english, not a native speaker.

    Rodrigo.

    I’m not so familiar with the torrent stuff, but you might want to take a look at /etc/rtorrent.rc and /usr/bin/runrtorrent.

    Thanks very much Rudi. I was looking for /usr/bin/runrtorrent indeed.
