    I would like to know if 4k movies are supported.
    I have a CUBOX-i 4 PRO with geexbox devel-20160728-r5028126 (kernel:linux 3.14.60)
    the movie is Deadpool – 2016 – 2160p – UHD 4K – DTS-HDMA 7.1 -DDR.mkv (h.264 encoded)
    the audio is fine but the video lagging terribly

    UHD resolution is beyond the hardware specs. A CuBox-i cannot display or decode it.
