    Hi !
I installed the latest GeexBox for PC, install on an internal sd card, i use an external hard drive for my video files. I can play, rename and delete my files with geexbox, but when i use this drive on my ubuntu pc i only can read this files, i have lost my permissions to move, rename or delete, however i can back to my other pc geexbox and use my files normally.
So, how to restore my permissions on my files ?
I also tried nautilus in root, no way…
    HELP! …

    Hello,

if files are created as root under geexbox, and it’s the default case, that can be the problem when you try to access your external drive
can you post the content of your directory with the command line :
    ls -al /path/to/your/problematic/directory
