    Hello,

    I have two problems.

    1. I have a HIFIMAN HM-101 USB DAC, (PCM2702 Burr-Brown) discovered by GeeXBoX, however I don’t know how to set up audio in GB. It is discovered as PCM2702  Burr Brown, when I have set up audio (by try and play audio method) I get SCRAMBLED audio. :(

    Is there a setting to have clear audio on PCM 2702 ?

    2. I have IT9135 based tuner. I know that Linux should work with this tuner, however, I can not get this tuner to work on GeeXBoX. TVHeadEnd is not discovering the device.

    Please help, as I am complete lame person in case of Linux.

    Hello,

    we need additionnal informations :

    for sound , post the content of debug_sound located in /tmp

    for dvb-t the result of comand : `dmesg`

    Maybe tvheadend is started too early to detect your device

    (read documentation how to access a terminal to enter this command)

    Hello!

    Thanks for quick response.

    Actually I have managed to install FW for IT9135 v.1 and v2 and TVHeadEnd discovered device.

    Here is the solution:

    1. Download fw zip file from
    http://www.ite.com.tw/uploads/firmware/v3.6.0.0/dvb-usb-it9135.zip
    2. Connect via FTP to XBMC. (login: geekbox, password:ftp)
    3. Make Download directory, and copy dvb-usb-it9135.zip
    4. go to XBMC machine and hit CRL+ALT+F2
    login as root. (login: root, password: root)
    5. cd Download
    6.
    unzip dvb-usb-it9135.zip
    dd if=dvb-usb-it9135.fw ibs=1 skip=64 count=8128 of=dvb-usb-it9135-01.fw
    dd if=dvb-usb-it9135.fw ibs=1 skip=12866 count=5817 of=dvb-usb-it9135-02.fw
    mv dvb-usb-it9135-0* /lib/firmware/

    6. Restart GEEXBOX machine.

    However, i locked access to www panel (via port 9981). How can I reset password/account?

    Second thing. The sound file reads as follows:

    ———start————-

    Sound setup : begin 201241271241
    Config :
    ALSA_CARD= 0
    SOUNDCARD_MODE= analog

    AC97_SPSA= 0
    CHANNELS= 2

    look in /root

    you should have a .tvheadend folder, remove it

    for sound, try to setup ALSA_CARD=”1″ in /etc/audio

    (http://www.geexbox.org/geexbox-advanced-configuration-audio-configuration/)

    I still have problems with scrambled audio. I have setup custom: “plughw:0,1″.

    Hello,

    The settings “plughw:1,1″ is not working at all. I have plugged in cheap “USB Headset” audio card, and I have also scrambled audio. I have plugged it in via USB HUB by D-Link, no change. I have changed amps, headphones. Scrambled audio all the time. What is wrong?

    did you try for sound, try to setup ALSA_CARD=”1″ in /etc/audio

    then reboot ?

    and reset sound settings to default in xbmc

    Tried that. Not working. I even deleted “asound” file (I have backup), but new is not created. However it is working when I set up “Burr-Brown Japan PCM2702 (iec958)”. The sound is not so scrambled, rather crackle sound. When the sound is on the TV (TVHeadEnd) is “choppy”. When sound is off, the image is fluent. CPU usage is 40%.

    I have solved the problem with sound. It looks like the problem was the HW acceleration for integrated intel graphic card. I have turned all HW accelleration, and there is no problem with sound. I set up “Burr-Brown Japan PCM2702 (iec958)”.
