    Hello,

I had a old build (july 2104) of geexbox, I succeeded in configuration with 2 of my remotes.
(modification of “hardware.conf” and “mycustom.conf”. It was working perfectly.

Now with same files, I can see the service is running with the good parameters and config files, but nothing happens.
Even if I try to see IR input with irw or irrecord, nothing happens.

    Hardware is Cubox-i pro 4.

Can you tell me what additionnal checks or config I need to make this work ?
Did you change something or disable this feature in last versions ?

    Best regards,

I found out how to make it work again :
    ir-keytable -p lirc

it sets enabled protocol to LIRC whereas default is RC-6.
but it only works until next reboot, do you know how to have this setting permanent ?

    Best regards,

You could play with /usr/bin/change-rc. It’s executed on each boot and it’s purpose is to modify the behaviour of the remote control.

Thanks, this solution will work for sure.
