    Hi there,

currently I try to install the eGalax touchscreen without the need for a custom build kernel (which would be very nice). There is a tutorial which can be found under http://markamc.cybaman.net/?p=168
I downloaded the mentioned packages and tried to install them on the RPi. I get the message that tslib cannot be installed using ipkg because “architecture does not match”. Is it possible to install this or is the custom built kernel is the only possibility to use eGalax?

    Hi Rudi,

I tried your suggestion but first ts_calib.sh told me that several paths where incorrect, after fixing this (ls -l /dev/input/by-id shows event5) ts_calibrate shows that the selected device is not a touchscreen because “must support ABS and KEY event types”. I also tried the other events (event0 to 4) and only event2 shows a different message (“must support ABS_X and ABS_Y events”).
I am bit stuck at the moment… Any further ideas?

BTW, I found no possibility to get evtest on the raspberry… the information is either for geexbox or for the raspberry but I havent found anything which matches both…
