If Geexbox will no longer have a Iso Generator, how can I add support to a generic remote of mine?

“Generic” remote are supposed to be HID compatible now (more and more kernel drivers implement this), hence will be seen as regular keyboards and won’t require any more configuration.

As “generic” I want to say “any remote control” I have on my hand.
If one break I configure other using WinLIRC and use my Homemade Serial Port Receiver.

I would like to use such generic remote on the Raspeberry Device too.

Should be possible in next release. But for such device you must supply the correct files to lirc daemon.
