Hi there, Just a small question. Do you guys think that the “generic” geexbox Brand would work on a PCG61?
Here are its specs:
Type Mini Desktop
Graphics Card Type Integrated Card
Hard Drive Capacity 60GB
Processor Main Frequency 1.60 ~ 2.06 GHz
Memory Capacity ≥ 4GB
Processor Brand Intel
Model Number PCG61
Processor Model Braswell Celeron N3150
CPU Intel Braswell Celeron N3150
GPU Intel HD Graphics (Gen8-LP) 12EU
Memory 4GB DDR3
Storage 64GB SSD
OS Ubuntu 16.04
Ethernet 100 / 1000Mbps (Giga LAN)
WiFi 802.11ac & 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 4.0
USB Host USB3.0 x 2 , USB 2.0 x 2
Interface VGA & HDMI 1.4 (4K, 4096*2160 @ 30fps)
A friend aquired it recently, and even after me telling him that Ubuntu would run Kodi smoothly, he would like to use geexbox once he is used to it (but not with “mainstream” Linux distros).
The main point according to him, is if it would work, and if so, will it still be “4K capable”?
Thanks for the atention.
