Hey, I noticed that the utilite pro has dual hdmi outputs. Would it be possible to configure one out put for playback with 5.1 and another for 2.0.

Reason why i want this, is because I have a bedroom tv and a livingroom tv but I only have support for 5.1 in the living room (bitstreamed via the hdmi) the tv in the bedroom also takes it’s sound from the hdmi but only supports 2.0.

So I am having difficulties splitting the signal and getting edid to configure right and output the right format.

The video image can be identical on both tvs.

Not sure it’s possible to do this. Note that one is hdmi , other is dvi.
Maybe, using profiles under xbmc, you can quickly switch to a specific config (not tested)

ow, didn’t realize one of them was dvi… then that’s probably down the drain, but thank you for the tip about profiles maybe that’s the solution.

Also for others which might have similar issues i came up with another solution for a completely different setup. Running Plex with two chromecasts would probably be a good solution. But then of course it’s a completely different system we are looking at.
