    Hi,

I’ve just installed one of the nightlies of GeexBox on my Utilite Standard, and it works great.
My TV supports a 1366×768 resolution (HD Ready) but for some reason XBMC doesn’t list this resolution as one of the options.. (Only 1920×1080, 1280×720 and some lower resolutions show up).

I’ve tried looking where I can set a custom resolution, and found references to /etc/X11/X.cfg which does not exist on the filesystem.

Also I’ve tried adding XORG_RESX, and XORG_RESY to /etc/video, but this doesn’t seem to have any effect.

    Thanks for your help

Geexbox on iMX.6 is not using X. Therefore any XOrg/X11 settings are ignored. The selectable resolutions in XBMC are taken from sys/class/graphics/fb0/modes. If a resolution doesn’t show up there, it’s either not advertised by the display via EDID or the kernel is rejecting it. There have been issues with that in various iMX.6 kernels. Especially with so-called “IT-resolutions”. I don’t know what the state of affairs is with respect to Utilite, but looking at the kernel sources 1366×768 doesn’t seem to be supported.
