    Hi folks,

I have a remote control from my deceased TV left over (5 yrs old).
I wanted to set it up to use it with CuBox since I cannot get CEC reliably to work with my Panasonic TV.

Now I checked the steps to perform on the solid run hompage.

With this info I created a custom mapping file and put it under /etc/rc_keymapping/charming
Loading and testing the mapping works in principle. But each keypress triggers three events:

    event MSC: scancode = 09
    event key down: KEY_9 (0x000a)
    event sync
    event key down: KEY_9 (0x000a)
    event sync
    event key up: KEY_9 (0x000a)
    event sync
    event MSC: scancode = 00
    event key down: KEY_PAUSE (0x0077)
    event sync
    event key down: KEY_PAUSE (0x0077)
    event sync
    event key up: KEY_PAUSE (0x0077)
    event sync

trying to change the delay with ir-keytable -D=XXX or the period with ir-keytable -P=YYY always results in the same output:

    Found /sys/class/rc/rc0/ (/dev/input/event0) with:
            Driver gpio-rc-recv, table rc-empty
Supported protocols: NEC RC-5 RC-6 JVC SONY SANYO LIRC RC-5-SZ other
            Enabled protocols: RC-6
Repeat delay = 500 ms, repeat period = 125 ms

    Any ideas what to do?

Are you sure about the syntax you used ?
    --delay=XXX or -D XXX but not -D=XXX

just to be sure and to start cleanly :

can you press many buttons just one time executing :
    ir-keytable -c -p RC6 -t
