First at all, thank you for this geexbox, it works very well and i appreciate it.
For me it misses few features (under the linux release):
– A dev kit (gcc, make, cmake, svn, git …): i use telnet to control my geexbox and i do not have another linux at home, then i’ll appreciate if we can compile directly on the geexbox pc.
– Pad detection: some users want to use a joypad to controls their mediacenter
– An emulator for retro gaming, then with the joypad detection this geexbox will be able to run a nes game 🙂
But if i can use gcc/make/cmake and svn/git i think community wil be able to add many features and many repositories.
Well, Gexxbox is cross-compiled
so if someone wants to add gcc * co to Geexbox, why not, but I think is not as simple as adding a new package.
about pad, Can’t test myself, sorry
about an emulator, we have that but not tested for a long time.
