I have GeeXboX installed on my hard drive. I was running the updater program from within xbmc, and I got no feedback, so I switched to the terminal. In there I tried running the opkg, but it said it couldn’t create the lock file, so I thought something must have got stuck on the xbmc end, and decided to reboot.
After that, GeeXboX doesn’t boot anymore. After the splash screen it starts to boot, but then reaches a black screen and stays there. I tried switching to a console with no avail.
If I run the debugging, it says that it’s mounting my hard drive (where GeeXboX is installed) as read only because it cannot handle the “disk options” (dunno what that is). Taking away the quiet mode ends up in the same black screen, though I see the same messages as in the debugging, just less verbose.
What can I do?
