Its a more general question: im trying to find info about whats changed on the latest img build wich is downloadble
Ive seen lots of new builds(dates) the last few days uploaded. (keep up the good work! :), im glad that there are a lot of enthousiast people who spent a lot of time to keep Geexbox updated.)
The only thing is:I can’t find related info text in mercurial repositories or in the GitHub links,(latest is the geexbox updater), to read what is repaired or added to the build.

Do i look at the wrong pages?

(maybe its possible to ad a text file or pdf to that download page for essential info about difference from the previous build. like 3 nov and now 5 nov, a small change or a importand repair?

Its not a complain but more a request.
    🙂

@ Warped Rudi: in an other thread im was also trying to find the answere and you confirmed it.
(i will link your link also there. ok?)
Al my problems seems not build version related . (except the updater and that is fixed. 🙂 )

Do you know an other Weather add-on wich is the same quality as Weather underground?
Yahoo is but. and china and Australië arn’t close by.

Well, tested my may compiled version Geexbox:
Display blacks : same problem, so probable a hdmi connection problem, (Or i can finaly buy a new TV :-P)
(diss- and reconnect cable gifs image back.(something wrong with the signal/line detection i think.)
Weather connection: also same problem(calls in defect), so the weather add-on is broken v3.0.9 not the GeexBox build. (how do i know when there is a repaired version? lets say v3.0.10? just look now and then or just keep weather underground installed so it is updating automaticly and goes active again?

Met Offic gives script broken, and Yahoo! is working on this build. (but crapy: no extra’s: just rain or windy or both…)

And? was the updater repaired correctly? (It seems to work fine on mine Cuboxi) and i notist the new img/tar on the 14 oct. 🙂
The only thing after updating seems the weather-underground add-on no more update/download the weather forcast.
After a wile the system announced that the add-on has an eror en its aksed or it has to be shut down.
    So i did.
    Anyone els the same problem?

Update: “special commands” is a tab with “audio output switching”.
Its working when the library modes is on.
And indeed it is switching between audio HDMI en Spdiff
(Andriod xbmc kodi had a update so i think they fixed it. 🙂 )

    edit:

Also, many TVs have an SPDIF (usually optical, but in some cases coax) output. So why not route the sound through the TV to the receiver if the latter cannot do it?

Well my tv is a bit “classic” 😉 So replacement is needed sometime.
And i read about the fact that some of the tv’s don’t redirect the sound data correctly. anyway its no biggy, im just use the systemsetting audio for now. 🙂

Bytheway: witch version is the latest (stable) build now?

    i found http://www.solid-run.com/community/topic641-440.html
    dated september 2014.

    so your right. 🙂

Is it useful to upgrate to the latest build? Because im reading things about failures with the cubox-i4pro.

thanks for the reply, i use yatse kodi app on androidmobile and in “special commands” is a tab with “audio output switching”.
I was thinking that that button was use full for switching 5.1 spdiff and hdmi/stereo. but somehowe nothing changes audiowise when i hit the button.
So somehowe there is allready a button created but not working propely.

im not sure witch build im running. that solution is for Gotham only.
