response is very slow, won’t play video (or very slow).
Hopefully next builds will improve a lot….
In the meantime I will stay with my HTPC Geexbox build.
Starting the script gives:
I’am about to overwrite /dev/sdb1. All existing data will be lost

I found 2x /dev/
/dev/sr0 cdrom iso9660 ro,noatime 0 0
/dev/loop0 /rofs squashfs ro noatime 0 0
Think the last one is the SD-slot?
Can I put the tar.bz2 file on an USB-disk (/dev/sdc1) and what is the path to the USB-disk. Is it “media/usb disk” as found from Ubuntu files…..
I am using Ubuntu from CD-Rom.
Using cat /proc/mounts shows no /dev/xxxxx or what so ever

Great DTS-HD Master is working; nice to hear Adele in DTS-HD MA
Geexbox is very fast.
Should be great that one day Geexbox can play 3D Bluray…..
Nvidia drivers are working, even my receiver is recognized.
Sound is okay.
Will test DTS-HD Master tomorrow.
I get an error when instaling the nvidia 313.30 driver in the latest Geexbox version.
After running depmod …
depmod: WARNING: could not open /lob/modules/3.8.10/modules.order: No such file or directory
(same with modules.builtin)
(running H77M-ITC mobo with Nvidia GT430)
When installing nvidia driver I get an error:
Running depmod …
FATAL: Could not rename /lib/modules/3.4.4/modules.devname.temp into /lib/modules/3.4.4/modules.devname: Is a directory
Done, reboot required
after reboot XBMC is working! including the remote
After installing r14556 I needed to shutdown the PC (as TV screen stayed black).
After 2nd reboot XBMC was running, except remote is still not working properly (same as r14536).
Is this version based on version 10?
(I asume r14536 = version 11?)
sorry don’t want to upset/get mad to the developers!
They are doing a great job!!
My remote (all buttons) is working with r14477
some of the buttons are not working with r14536!
looks like “OK” button of the remote is not working!
Have to press the “ENTER” button to start something or keyboard.
How to change “OK” button into the “ENTER” botton?
r14536 is working after a reboot!
Sound is working …
latest release r14536 is crap;
cannot go into sub-menu’s like Music=>Files.
switching between Music-Movies-Weather is no problem, but going one level lower nothing happens..
(installed r14536 + nvidia driver)
