Problems with installation

I followed the steps described in http://www.geexbox.org/geexbox-for-embedded-devices-booting-on-pandaboard/ but I can not boot GeeXboX in pandaboard.

The pandaboard is connected to the TV with an HDMI cable, but no picture comes on TV and shows no activity in the pandaboard.

Any suggestions?

A greeting and thank you very much

Excuse my English I’m using google translate

Make sure that when creating the SD card you followed all the steps in fdisk:
* create (n) one small boot partition (100MB), and change its type (t) to FAT (0c)
* create (n) a data partition in the remaining space
* mark as active/bootable (a) the boot partition
* save your changes and quit (w)

The “mark as active” for the boot partition is especially important, without it the board will not start. For further debugging, you can try connecting a serial cable to the pandaboard and examine the output in minicom or a similar tool.

The MLO in release 2.0 isn’t good for pandaboard-es omap4460
Please change it building from u-boot-linaro-stable branch Linaro-u-boot-2011.12
