    Hello everyone !

I’m having some problems with dropbear and SSH connections.

    I installed it with :

    opkg install dropbear

It only downloaded the package ? Should I start the SSH server ? I haven’t find any file that corrrespond to dropbear (except an empty folder).

When i try to connect with SSH (I’m using Putty on a Windows 7), it said “Unable to connect to host”. Telnet work, but I really need SSH.

    What should I do ?

P.S. Sorry for my English, it’s not my first language.

Which version of geexbox do you use ? devel ?

assuming your arch is i386, you should do :

    opkg install http://download.openbricks.org/r15016/dropbear_2012.55-1_i686.opk

    then reboot

command line : “opkg install dropbear” works only for releases >= 3.0 ( you use our repositorie),

Thanks for the support, it works. For informations I use devel.

    I have another question :
How can I install java on geexbox ? Can I do it with a package or should I do it manually ?

    Thanks again.
