    Hi,
As mentioned in topic I want to know if the new CuBox-i in the biggest version will support these audio formats. Otherwise the current CuBox, wich doesn’t.

I don’t know. Just played with the development board for a few hours…

Is there any news on this?

I would like to purchase a HummingBoard ie2x and install GeexBox on it. Has DTS-HD been tested yet?

    Thanks!

On your AV Receiver. Does it show up as DTS-HD, or does it simply display DTS? If it ONLY displays DTS than it just passes through the DTS core within the DTS-HD audio. Therefore DTS-HD is not working.

If I say that it works, then I usually mean it. BTW, click.

So how can I enable the HD audio formats on the latest build?
I never got it to work with my receiver.

Nothing special to do. Just check the appropiate buttons in XBMC audio settings (Expert mode).

In expert mode there is no such option left.
On previous build there was one.
But even with this option it doesn’t work as I figured out before.
The only signal wich was passed through was a white noise! My Receiver never got a propper signal as it should be.

That’s quite bizarre. The two HD audio options have been present always and there is nothing I can think of how they can disappear (except when passthrough is disabled or the device is not HDMI or the XBMC configuration is corrupted). Also note that the past problems with HD audio were all related to the kernel and ALSA lib. But this is long history. The last few 3.10 drops as well as 3.14 should be O.K. Just re-tested it here on my local build and it works just fine.
