I am trying to install another Linux Distribution on top of GeeXBox and it looks like I can’t. Every time I try to do that GeeXBox wants to take the whole hardrive. Even if I shrink the geexbox partition and install another Linux Distro within free space, geexbox is not listed on bootloader to select.

Is this how GeeXBox work or am I not doing it right?

yes, installator format the entire disk ….
We should improve this (you are welcome ;) )
Depending how you install geexbox to disk, you can boot from another boot loader if you want
Which one do you have with your other distribution ?
