I have a PC that I use for GeexBox, it’s all set up, it’s great and works perfect accept for one small problem.

It has a built in TV tuner that GeexBox doesn’t load a driver for.

As a result, TV Headend shows me that there is no tuner detected, and DMESG at boot up tels me (as does lsusb) it sees a multimedia card, but that there are no drivers installed for it.

modprobe and co, confirm this, as they also tell me that the required drivers cannot be found.

I know which drivers I need, Iv’e found the appropriate Video 4 Linux page, I just have no clue how to get them into and working with Geexbox.

    Cheers

Maybe we didn’t include it in the defconfig for the kernel …
What is the name of the driver you need ? and on which version of geexbox ?
