    Hi there

Since i’m using Geexbox 2.0, i’m happy with it, great job! As i’ve seen the new release 3.0 came out, i decided to check it out.

But i have a little problem with it: When i startup my system geexbox starts correctly, but when i attach a external usb-hdd(500GB, 4 partitions) a message appears: Disk….mounted successfully (something like that) and a few seconds later i got the message Disk….successfully removed and it never stops to do that mounted..removed..mounted..removed.

in 2.0 the disks where mounted once and after that, they appeared allways in the list of drives, also when the drive was not connected.

I think it might be usefull, when the user could choose which behaviour geexbox should have.

    regards

    Egolf

    1. extended partition(269GB) with 3logical partitions (110Gb/NTFS , 133GB/NTFS , 20GB/NTFS)

ok, so it shouldn’t be a problem

can you return the results of :

    journalctl -a | grep disks

    thanks

i tried to write this to file this way:

    journalctl -a | grep disks>/dev/sda/sda1/log.log

but the system says “can’t create /dev/sda/sda1/log.log : nonexistent directory”

which path should i choose to write the results to a file?

assuming you bot from an ussb-stick : you can do :

    journalctl -a | grep disks> /.root/journal.txt

    the “.” is important

this file (journal.txt ) should appear on the root of your usb-stick
