Great DTS-HD Master is working; nice to hear Adele in DTS-HD MA
    Geexbox is very fast.
Should be great that one day Geexbox can play 3D Bluray…..

XBMC need libshairplay in latest build.
    libshairplay-89202f7.tar.xz is already in sources.openelec.tv/devel/

The nvidia driver doesn’t seem to work. And it”s been the case for every builds for quite a long time for me. All the builds for 2014 seem to be affected.

Everything works fine with nouveau. In fact, tearing and low performance are nightmares of the past, geexbox works well even without the nvida drivers.

But I’d like to try those drivers if possible.

    here’s what xbmc.log looks like

to be honest, I do not look so much now at i386 and x86-64 target
We need to find someone to test for those platforms and to do a little of packaging …
    it’s not so difficult.
    Are you volunteer ?

I do not think I have the skills… other than reporting some problems I encounter?
All depends on the “little bit of packaging”

    well, just clone, build
then modify a package (ie xf86-video-nvidia)
    rebuilt/package it
    try it

I’m pretty sure you don’t need to build a full iso, just doing :
    (after cloning, off course)

    ./scripts/loadcfg geexbox-xbmc-i386-generic
    ./scripts/package xf86-video-nvidia

    should work

Every time I tried building, ended up in fails. So it’s clearly out of my league for now.
When I have time, I’ll look into building that single package and hope it works.

    Thanks

    Tried latest openelec nightly.
works fairly well and even decodes H265/HEVC properly
Aside from user settings, there’s not much to fiddle with.
