    Hi,
Thanks for the reply.I am currently doing a project in which there is a need to use kernel 3.0.8 and some file system to get a GUI.So i got info of geeXbox from omappedia.I am currently executing these in pandaboard and it works fine with the prebuilts of geexbox which had kernel 2.6.38.Is there anyway by which i can use my kernel ie 3.0.8 and use it to build with geeXbox file system to get a GUI.

    Thanks
    Haran

yes you can, but you must build your own iso/binary
    1) clone sources with mercurial
    2) if your target archictecture is arm9/panda, edit file config/platforms/arm/omap4/packages/linux/meta, change variable PKG_VERSION
    3) for i386/x86_64, it/s in packages/linux
put your source file in sources/linux
    copy config/platforms/arm/omap4/packages/linux/meta .stamps/linux/get

build your kernel (maybe you need to change some options in config/platforms/arm/omap4/linux.conf )
