[ solved ] Hulu Plugin??

[imoldovanMember]

I disabled vdpau and there is no change. Same http bad request pops up for Hulu. I then disabled VAAPI also with the same results. I also tried to play soome m4v files but they give me an error. Here is the log.

I downloaded an XBMC Hulu plugin from an XBMC repository. The dev for this plugin is Bluecop. Is this the plugin you are attempting to use? I agree with you about the usefullness of Hulu here in the US. To date I. too, have had no success with the Hulu plugin in the recent dev downloads

only lightly tested, but Hulu should would (just install it from video -> addons -> get more), and you can even disable the ads in the settings if you want. Free Cable works as well, while Amazon is broken. The other addons from Bluecop are still untested.

Thank you, Davide. I have successfully connected on my laptop with Hulu and watched some of a video. Will test more. One challenge: I need to change video resolution from 1280X to 1024x to run on my TV. I have d one this with previous builds with no problem. I get a white square in the upper left of the screen with the message “Could not open framebuffer: no such file or directory.” I have made a manual change in the xorg script, but the GUI provided doesn’t respond, and stays set at 1280×768.
