I am new to the forum and GeeXboX; and I am trying to find out if I will be able to use GeeXboX 1.2.4 to watch/control the streaming content at my XBMC.
I am using GeeXboX 1.2.4 because it is being installed on an old Dell laptop, Inspiron 3700 with a pentium ii 400 MHz cpu. It was a clean install as the only operating system on the HD. It is giving my extra old laptop a new life. I have been able to play content on my other laptop with XBMC running through upnp. Unfortunately, both 2.0 and 3.0, because of the XBMC interface I believe, runs extremely slow.
The XBMC I am running is on a newer dedicated laptop that I stream videos from the internet and I am wanting to find out if it is possible to use the GeeXboX 1.2.4 machine to watch what is being streamed on the XBMC. If so, how should I set it up.
