Get GeeXboX on CD

GeeXboX is an embedded micro-system, designed to be as small as possible. Nevertheless, its sources, which are required to be able to rebuild the OS, use more than 100 MB of disk space. If you're not able to download this amount of data, you can get a GeeXboX CD through postal mail.

We have a deal with a French company called Ikarios , who let you buy a GeeXboX CD. These are for sale at a unique price of 2.99 Euros per unit and feature the following content :

- bootable version of the latest GeeXboX release.
- sources and ISOs of all previous releases.
- a local mirror of the web site.
- a directory containing pictures which you can use for CD sleeves.

As a company, IKARIOS contributes to the expansion of free software by offering high-quality products at rock-bottom prices, free information and money to the free-software world. A considerable amount of income is sent to the Free Software Foundation (FSF), one of the major organizations which contribute to, and help open-source software.

For each CD sold, a 1 Euro income is given to the GeeXboX development team. These CDs are not burned (like traditional CDR) but are commercially pressed, and are sold with a sleeve.

If you want to get an official GeeXboX CD, contribute to the project's development, help free software, or if you do not have access to an high-speed Internet connection with which to get the full sources, you can order a CD at the following page :
